SYNOPSIS
Through art, Michel Paradis and Bernard Landriault chose to make space for the environment by establishing a foundation in Saint-Edmond-de-Grantham. By bringing these two dimensions together, they created a place unlike any other in Quebec. Artists and researchers find renewal and inspiration there. Giving a voice to creators in residence lies at the heart of this innovative initiative.
For Art and the Environment explores this singular project, nestled in a forest in central Quebec. Through the eyes of those who have spent time there, filmmakers Alain Baril and Ginette Petit portray this generous undertaking, which continues to inspire across Canada and internationally.
With the valued participation of Claudine Brouillard, Clément de Gaulejac, Anne Deslauriers, Daniel Forgues, Sélénie Giguère, Ji-Yoon Han, Johanne Lamoureux, Marie-Ève Poulin, Claudel Lauzière Vanasse, Anahita Norouzi, Andreas Rutkauskas, Pierre Thibault, Bernard Landriault and Michel Paradis.
